It is by no means easy to photograph or film a birth. Usually the expectant mother wants to be alone with her breeder, which leads to the fact that you have to do everything yourself, and no birth goes off like any other.
When once a birth came to a stop and did not want to continue, I phoned my veterinarian and hit the road. Two pups were then born during the trip in the back of my car and the third on the return trip!
